The Alpine image is tagged with "latest" and is generally the preferred image as it is much smaller. Both are provided if any user has a preference for Ubuntu.

Recommended docker settings:

• Set environment variable "OXIDIZED_HOME=/etc/oxidized"
• Mount two volumes:
• /etc/oxidized
• (only if sending mail, a single file) /etc/msmtprc
• Add config and router.db files to the "/etc/oxidized" directory
• Add /etc/msmtprc file
• Expose/map port 8888

Note: oxidized will create a pid file in "/etc/oxidized" and often this will not be removed when the container stops. If the container fails to start, check for the presence of this file and remove it.

The executables oxidized and oxidized-report-git-commits are linked to "/usr/bin/". Use the full path (e.g. /usr/bin/oxidized-report-git-commits) in any configuration files.
