The new TOSIBOX® Lock for Container helps bring secure connectivity inside your industrial IoT devices. It is a software-only way of connecting your IPCs, HMIs, PLCs, controllers and other devices to your TOSIBOX® network, serving as the endpoint for secure remote connections.

⁠Important note for users of version 1.0.1

There is no upgrade method from old 1.0.1 version to new one: after installing LfC 1.1.0 a new activation (with the existing activation code), matching to the Tosibox ecosystem and the configuration of the settings is necessary. From LfC 1.1.0 to higher versions the Docker update process is supported (activation and settings are preserved).

⁠How to run Lock for Container

1. Download and install Docker free of charge, see https://github.com/WAGO
2. Download LfC on your device with the Docker pull command (devices based on x86 must use tag :5.5.1_x86-64)
3. Run the Lock for Container with the Docker run command
4. Access the management web interface at http://[IP]:8000

⁠Activate for access

TOSIBOX® Lock for Container must be activated before you can create secure remote connections. An Activation Code from Tosibox is required for activation. Contact Tosibox sales for your Activation Code at https://www.tosibox.com/contact-us/⁠.
