Where is the official node image?

Check https://hub.docker.com/_/node/ for updates.

NanoServer

These are multi-os images for Windows Server 2019 as well as the 1909, 1903, and 1803 Semi-annual channels. For Windows Server 2016 the windowsservercore variant is used.

Pure Node.js

The smallest possible Node.js image for Windows is based on Nano Server and only the node.exe included. This is useful for multi-stage builds where you just COPY deploy your sources and node_modules and avoid using npm.cmd to run your app.

Windows Server Core

These images are only for Windows Server 2019 LTS channel and you need HyperV to run them on Windows Server 1803 or newer.
