⁠SolDevelo Pgpool-II Docker Image

Pgpool-II by SolDevelo, a maintained fork of the Bitnami Pgpool-II image.

Pgpool-II is a PostgreSQL proxy that provides connection pooling, load balancing, automated failover, and replication support.

⁠Features

• Maintained Pgpool-II container image by SolDevelo.
• Based on Bitnami Pgpool-II container (Apache-2.0 licensed).
• Ready to use with Docker or Docker Compose.
• Supports load balancing, connection pooling, and failover for PostgreSQL clusters.
• Future support for additional containers planned.

⁠Run Pgpool-II using Docker Compose

The main folder of each application contains a functional docker-compose.yml file. Run the application using it as shown below:

curl -sSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/soldevelo/containers/main/soldevelo/pgpool/4/debian-12/docker-compose.yml > docker-compose.yml
docker compose up -d
