performancetesting/load_generator_windows repository overview

LoadRunner and Performance Center Load Generator Image

The images in the repository include a load generator component for LoadRunner and for Performance Center and all their prerequisites.

How to use this image:

  • To run the load generator, use the following command (the container will run in the background): docker run -id -p <host_port>:54345 performancetesting/load_generator_windows:<tag version number>

Notes:

  • The default port is 54345. You can specify a custom port for the Docker host in order to run multiple load generator containers on a single host machine, using the Docker command line parameter (-p).
  • The Docker image was built with Windows Server 2016 up to TAG "20.00" and Windows Server 2019 for TAG "20.01" onwards as the base operating systems. For a compatibility matrix of operating systems supported for running Docker containers, see https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/virtualization/windowscontainers/deploy-containers/version-compatibility.
