Effective immediately, Docker container image tags labeled latest or following the pattern *-latest-* are considered deprecated and will no longer be maintained, updated, or supported. These tags are being phased out to ensure improved versioning transparency, enhanced security, and predictable deployment behavior.

As part of this deprecation process, all latest and *-latest-* tags will be permanently removed on May 31st, 2026. After this date, these tags will no longer be available in the container registry.

Users and automated systems relying on these tags should transition to explicit, versioned tags (e.g., 9.1, 9.2, or other semantically versioned identifiers) as soon as possible. Continued use of deprecated tags may result in unexpected behavior, including receiving outdated images, missing security updates, or deployment failures.

The maintainers assume no responsibility for issues arising from the continued use of these deprecated tags. By using these tags after the deprecation notice, you acknowledge and accept all associated risks.

For ongoing stability, security, and support, please update your workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and configuration files to reference officially supported, versioned container image tags.
