kindest/node-amd64 repository overview

These images are from kind.sigs.k8s.io⁠, prebuilt by the maintainer team. kindest/node is the preferred multi-arch version of this image.

They are used with the kind tool to run local Kubernetes clusters, where each node is a container running kubernetes and containerd-in-docker. More details are at how this works and how to use these images are at kind.sigs.k8s.io⁠.
