Headless browser runtime for Chromium-family - Xvfb + TigerVNC + noVNC + openbox + sshd.
2.9K
A minimal debian:bookworm-slim image with everything needed to run a GUI browser inside a container and stream the desktop over VNC or noVNC. Includes Xvfb, TigerVNC, noVNC + websockify, openbox, dbus, common fonts (Liberation, DejaVu, Noto color emoji; optional CJK via --build-arg INCLUDE_CJK_FONTS=true), a stealth Chrome extension, and sshd. All services are managed by s6-overlay so the container is PID-1-clean and shuts down gracefully.
The image deliberately ships no browser — pull a variant (Chromium, Chrome, Brave) or use this as a FROM base for your own.
SSH host keys are regenerated on first boot, so each container instance is unique and safe to clone.
Useful as a building block for AI agents, Claworc, browser-as-a-service platforms, scraping clusters, e2e test runners, or any system that needs a remotely controllable Chromium-family browser with both DevTools Protocol and a real X display.
