⚠️ Starting with version 8.9, the web-modeler-webapp image has been discontinued. Its functionality is now integrated into web-modeler-restapi⁠.

⁠Web Modeler

The Web Modeler serves as a collaborative, integrated tool designed for cloud-based design and development. This tool excels in rapid prototyping during the early stages of a project, offering tight integration with a development cluster and out-of-the-box functionality. Business and IT professionals can use this tool to graphically define their processes using BPMN & DMN standards. The Web Modeler also includes a basic process development lifecycle, enabling the progression of single process files and multiple related files through various stages to production. ⁠Components

Web Modeler is composed of multiple components all of which need to be running for Web Modeler to function correctly.

• Versions < 8.9: restapi⁠, webapp⁠, and websockets⁠.
• Versions >= 8.9: restapi⁠ and websockets⁠ (the webapp is no longer required as its functionality is now integrated into the restapi).

⁠License Restrictions

Non-production installations are limited to five collaborators per project. For more details on the difference between "production" and "non-production", please refer to the Camunda Self-Managed Non-Production Terms⁠.
