Antrea is a Kubernetes⁠ networking solution intended to be Kubernetes native. It operates at Layer 3/4 to provide networking and security services for a Kubernetes cluster, leveraging Open vSwitch⁠ as the networking data plane.

This image is based on the RedHat UBI image, so it will typically only be used in OpenShift clusters. It is also only available for the amd64 architecture. Most users should prefer the antrea/antrea-ubuntu⁠ image, which is based on Ubuntu and is available as a multi-platform manifest.

Note that starting with Antrea v1.15, the Antrea Agent and Controller are packaged as 2 different Docker images (antrea-agent-ubi⁠ and antrea-controller-ubi⁠). As a result, this "unified" image is considered deprecated and is no longer updated except when publishing maintenance releases for older Antrea versions. This repository MAY be removed in the future.
